Hi! My name is Michelle Lee. I am a certified Birth Doula, Lactation Counselor + Student Midwife

It is my passion to support birthing people during their pregnancy, birth and the days shortly after. Every pregnant person needs and deserves care and support during such a transformational time of their lives. Research shows that people who feel loved and cared for during their pregnancy and birth have better birth outcomes. We also know that there are many decisions to make when you find out that you have a baby on the way. Having a safe and non-judgmental person to share openly and honestly with will help you to make decisions with peace and clarity.

I am a mom to 3 teenagers and a bonus mom to many children whom have lived in our home over the years. I get excited about any chance to travel and always choose experiences over things if given the chance. I genuinely love to meet new people and host friends in my home. I am originally from New Orleans, so I am crazy about good food and a nice glass of wine.

I found my way into birth work very organically. Some of my first experiences were in the birth rooms of personal friends who either had no other support person or wanted a bit of specialized care. While most of my experience is with women who are at higher risk for maternal and infant mortality due to race and economics, it is my joy to serve every kind of family. I have a desire to empower every birthing person and their partners to have a peaceful journey through the birthing experience.

I would love to meet you and learn how to serve you best. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions that you might have.

Light and Love to you!
